What counts as a "room"?
A room is one logical presentation context. One synchronised show across as many physical screens as that room needs (main screen, confidence monitor, side panels, lobby signage). One booking, one guest, one show.
If you have two rooms running independent presentations at the same time, that's two rooms. Most small venues need 1–3.
Pricing FAQ
Can I stay on Free forever?
Yes. Free covers signage and basic presentation use with no time limit. Most people move to Business for one of two reasons: they need the guest portal (a link your guest presenters use to upload and run their own slides), or they want to run a main screen, confidence monitor, and signage together as one synchronised show.
How many displays can one room run?
As many as you need. Main screen, confidence monitor, and signage all run from one synchronised show. There's a soft cap in place to prevent abuse, but real venues never get close. If yours might, email us with what you're running and we'll work it out.
Do I have to bring my own hardware?
You can. TheOpenPresenter runs on any device with a modern browser. A Fire TV Stick, Chromecast, or mini PC all work. If you'd rather we handle it, we can supply hardware at cost with a small setup fee. Get in touch.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes. £790/year per room, which works out to two months free compared with monthly billing.
What about houses of worship?
Smaller houses of worship get TheOpenPresenter free under our sponsorship programme. Email us about your congregation and we'll send the application.
One-off event? Do you offer a day rate?
Yes. £29/day per room covers a single event (24 hours) with full Business features, including the guest portal. Great for conferences, weddings, and single-day room hires. Email us with the date and we'll set it up. If you run more than 2–3 event days a month, monthly Business works out cheaper.
